These are not compulsary rules but it does help to pay attention to:

Keep personal vehicles set to “everyone” (as we can often have a “buddy of the An9elz” in our party)

If a bounty is on a crew member, do not kill for the quick money unless requested by the bounty holder. The An9elz will nominate a crew member to be “the VIP” and we [the crew] are the body guards, the goal is for the target to outlast the bounty. 45 in game minutes

Before starting your session. Look for other crew online. Use the “find crew members” option from the “online” menu while paused in single player

It’s polite (if not otherwise engaged, or with crew/friends already) to join job invites you receive from fellow An9elz

If, while with crew, a member/s enters a; garage/mod/ammo/clothes store. Wait outside to keep gaurd.

Mic’s are not necessary but they are preferred especially while participating in jobs. Once the Heist’s are released a mic will become more important and preference will be given to An9elz with mic's

Selfless acts are encouraged, the more nice stuff you do for the crew, the more you will be commended

Free-roam tips
FREE ROAM WITH A PURPOSE
While in free-roam, all An9elz should familarize and take advantage of in game money making activities. Stealing and selling cars in GTA 5 Online is one of fastest way to get money. Make it a habit to know what vehicles are worth the most and take them to Los Santos Customs (LSC) for a nice payout. You can sell a car every 45 minutes (real time) and earn approximately $20,000.00 for every 2-3 hours in game. Best time to do this is after you have completed a bunch of missions & return to free roam. Not all cars can be sold. Here's a list of top 6 cars I have been taught to sell and the payout:

SIMEON REQUESTS:
Every twenty four hours (after delivering a vehicle Simeon requested or simply ignoring the request altogether) Simeon will send you a text message asking for specific vehicles. Try find these and deliver them in perfect condition. Know which cars in your list are worth the most and go for them!
HIGH PRIORITY VEHICLES:
These are fun but risky vehicles to take. The best
tactics to use when taking the high priority vehicle is
to work in pairs if possible! What's highly amusing
is when you take the vehicle to LSC, paint it first then
add the ignition bomb to it. When you see people
chase you (happens more often then not) exit the
vehicle, let them take it and as soon as they get in it
and drive away it explodes. It's a sweet payback for
anyone who decides to try destroy it while it's in your
posession.
Armour Trucks often drop a decent amount of cash. Make sure you chase these down when you see them on your map
MISSIONS
Before starting a mission or any other job make sure you go to the store an purchase food. Do not rob the store when your buying food supplies! Make it a habit to use the snacks option in the quick inventory to bring your health back up in missions. Make it your priority to keep an eye on your health bar and duck away somewhere safe to replenish your health when needed. This will help you stay alive if you manage to successfully eat while on missions! I commend any An9elz who make it through missions by eating when necessary. Also make a pittstop at ammunation & pick up your armour and again use them during missions and jobs. You can put armor on the same way you eat snacks. By using the quick inventory menu.
